Candidates will submit their applications through the online application portal that will be launched by OWSD and IAU jointly. The online application system will only accept applications complete in all parts, including the required documents. The call for application is open between July 8, 2024 and August 25, 2024. Deadline to submit applications is 25th August 2024.
TIMELINE
- Launch of the call.
- Eligibility checks and pre-screening of the applications.
- IAU makes offers to candidates and logistical preparation begins by the end of September.
Selection process of the awardees:
Submitted applications will be reviewed by a joint expert panel from IAU and OWSD. During this stage, candidates will be shortlisted and then either selected directly or invited to an interview. If interviews are recommended, they will be conducted by a Selection Committee. Based on interview performance and application materials, the Selection Committee will recommend the top candidates for scholarship awards.
