Application
Participants will be selected through an open call that will be launched by OWSD and IAU jointly. IAU and OWSD will conduct the review process jointly. The call is open to refugees from all OWSD eligible countries.
IAU will organize the distribution of the scholarships. The scholarships will cover the following costs:
- M.Sc. tuition fees
- Living allowance
- Personal allowance
- Residence/visa documentation
- Medical insurance
- Travel
Tentative timeline for work plan:
- o July – August, 2024: Launch of the call.
- o August – September: Eligibility checks and pre-screening of the applications
- o September-October: IAU makes offers to candidates and logistical preparation begins by the end of September.
Selection process of the awardees:
The selection process will follow well established OWSD process. Following submission of complete application form and material, suitable candidates are shortlisted and then selected or invited to interview.
Where interviews are recommended, these will be conducted by a Selection Committee. This committee will, based on the evaluations carried out by reviewers
